Factory-integrated adjustable launch control for the Maverick R.

Setting and use:

• Set launch RPM with engine off and cluster lit: hold the headlight switch down and press the throttle until the cluster shows the desired RPM, then release the headlight switch. The ECU remembers the setting.
• Transmission must be at least 130 degrees F to enter launch mode. This is typically reached when engine temp shows four bars for about 5 minutes. Driving heats the transmission faster than idling.
• High coolant or intake temps can block launch mode.
• Shift to DRIVE in SPORT or SPORT+ (high gear). Hold the engine mode button for 5 seconds until “Launch Mode Enabled” and an RPM gauge icon appear on the cluster.
• To launch: hold the brake, floor the throttle. RPM will climb to the set value and build about 15lbs of boost (depending on RPM). Releasing the brake engages the clutches and initiates the launch. Use caution on dry pavement; dirt or sand is easier on the driveline.

• Adjust launch RPM on-demand using OEM controls without the CodeShooter app or re-flashing the ECU.
• Adjustable in 100 RPM steps from 2200 to 5200 RPM.
• Shows boost, peak boost, and AFR on the OEM display without a dash flash.
• OEM-style clutch strategy holds engagement during staging and ramps pressure on release for a slingshot launch.
