Sand Storm Belt (SS) Built for extreme heat, dirt and dust found in dunes/desert. Matches OEM engagement and operating RPMs.
- Next-generation high-twist Aramid cord for high tensile loads
- Bottom cog impregnated with short Aramid fibers for improved adhesion and lower belt temperature
- Updated bottom cog design for better rotational efficiency at full shift
- Encapsulated Aramid fibers to increase cord strength and reduce friction
- Precision ground sidewall angle for smooth engagement and lower operating temperature
- Aramid cord wraps over bottom cogs for added bottom cog strength
- Increased cord pop-out resistance
- Higher top cog pressure load to improve sidewall rigidity and prevent bowing while allowing rotational flexibility

Limited Belt Warranty Coverage
Evolution Powersports belts are covered against defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
- Warranty period: 1 year from date of purchase
- Valid only for belts purchased from EVP or an authorized dealer
- Replacement belts assume the remaining warranty period from the original purchase
- Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect
- The belt may need to be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense
What Is Not Covered
- Improper use or operating conditions
- Clutching issues or mechanical malfunctions
- Heat damage or belt wear
- Improper installation or break-in
Drive Belt Failures
- Hour Glassing: Narrow/worn center section. Cause: drive clutch spinning while belt is stationary. Status: Not Warrantied
- Cord Pop Out: Center cord separates due to improper bonding. Status: Warrantied
- Flex Crack: Caused by improper bending/flexing. Status: Not Warrantied
- Glazing: Shiny, overheated sidewalls from slippage or improper clutching/abuse. Status: Not Warrantied
- Tearing: Tears from impact, worn clutches, jumping, or belt bowing into clutch housing. Status: Not Warrantied
- Delamination: Layer separation from improper bonding. Status: Warrantied
- Broken Belt: Breakage from shock loading, prolonged overdrive, excessive engagement RPM, improper gear/center distance, or jammed drivetrain. Status: Not Warrantied
- Disintegration: Belt breaks into pieces from prior damage (hour glassing, glazing, flex cracks), misalignment, restricted clutch air intake, or excessive heat. Status: Not Warrantied
