DESCRIPTION

The Clamp, developed by Evolution Powersports and CA Technologies, reinforces the OEM intake plenum to prevent failures under boost. It clamps around the plenum to address known weak points.

• 3D‑scanned for precise fit
• 6061‑T6 aluminum, CNC machined
• Lightweight and durable; tested on race and heavily modified engines

Testing & Development

• Simulated: Plenum with The Clamp withstood ~70 PSI; identical plenum without The Clamp failed at ~35 PSI.
• Real-world factors (heat, vibration, shock, pulsation) lower failure thresholds. Failures have been observed as low as 22 psi and at stock (15 psi).
• Field: Used in Mint 400 and Iceman 500. Two vehicles ran the Mint 400 with no plenum issues. At the 2020 Iceman 500, the car with The Clamp finished; the car without had a plenum failure at ~300 miles.
• Also tested on Dynomite 310 and Desert Storm 320 big turbo kits.
