DESCRIPTION

The factory recirculates crankcase air into the intake. That air carries oil, moisture and combustion byproducts that contaminate air sent to the turbocharger. Oil- and water-infused vapors coat compressor blades, charge tubes, intercooler and intake valves. On non-turbo models it can alter air/fuel ratio and lower effective octane, reducing performance. Oil also lowers knock threshold and reduces knock protection.

The EVP catch can is CNC-machined billet aluminum and mounts to the frame rail above the clutch housing. The OEM crankcase vent hose is rerouted to the separator. The internal baffle uses a perforated stainless steel cylinder and additional steel screening to condense and separate oil from the vapors. The kit includes a filter element, pre-filter and a petcock-style drain valve for clean periodic emptying.

A silicone cap is provided to block the intake boot breather port. All hardware is stainless steel and the separator body is powder coated black. The billet cap can be rotated in 45-degree increments for different mounting orientations and is removable for full cleaning.
