Oil also lowers knock threshold and reduces knock protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe EVP catch can is CNC-machined billet aluminum and mounts to the frame rail above the clutch housing. The OEM crankcase vent hose is rerouted to the separator. The internal baffle uses a perforated stainless steel cylinder and additional steel screening to condense and separate oil from the vapors.
